CACAO ALMOND TRUFFLES

CACAO ALMOND TRUFFLES

Biofioled Tuning logo

A Healthy Treat

If you have a sweet tooth like me but like to eat healthily to keep feeling great, this recipe might be just for you. My friend Kate inspired me to make these by sending me the cacao almond balls recipe by Deliciously Ella. I started tweaking that recipe a bit, also remembering my grandma’s equally delicious (if a bit decadent) coconut and rum truffles, and the result is this recipe, with following ingredients:

Raw Cacao (not to be confused with cocoa which is processed and often mixed with sugar) well deserves to be considered a superfood: It is one of the highest sources of magnesium in nature, full of antioxidants, calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron, copper and selenium, and flavonoids. Flavonoids improve blood flow to the brain and heart, lower blood pressure, and aid in preventing blood clots.

Small wonder cacao had a divine status in Mayan and Aztec cultures. According to legend, the Aztec ruler Montezuma II drank 50 cups of chocolate a day, and more when he was entertaining a woman.

Dried dates contain iron, calcium, and vitamin A, which is beneficial for maintaining skin health. They are high in fibre, thus very good for digestion. They are also deliciously sweet, so you won’t have to use processed sugar for this recipe.

Almonds are loaded with antioxidants, and high in Vitamin E and magnesium. They can aid in lowering blood sugar levels, reducing blood pressure and lowering cholesterol levels.

Ingredients for cacao truffles

Ingredients:

  • 6 tbsp Cacao powder
  • 400 g Medjool dates
  • 2 – 3 tbsp Coconut oil, melted
  • A handful of desiccated coconut
  • 400 g Almonds
  • Vanilla extract (vanilla bean paste or liquid vanilla essence)
  • A handful of Cacao nibs
  • A pinch of rock (or sea) salt

Note: Feel free to improvise with the amounts and ratios. No need to use a scale. I tend to use an equal amount of Medjool dates and the almonds, about 50:50. But if you’d like the truffles to be more creamy than crunchy, then use a smaller ratio of almonds to dates. Another possibility is to add a bit of almond butter to the mixture.

The same goes for the vanilla extract. You don’t have to use it at all, but if you fancy a nice shot of penetrating vanilla essence, add a few teaspoons of it. The truffles will gain a funkier, ‘rum-like’ taste.

Method:

1. Place the almonds in the food processor (I recommend Vitamix Ascent Blender or Ninja Food Processor) and pulse until crushed. You can use the Pulse function to control how crunchy or fine you would like the almonds to be.

I personally prefer the almonds to be ground as finely as possible because it releases an amazing marzipan-like flavour.  For a really fine grounding I use the Vitamix blender, and for chopping and mixing everything together I use the Ninja blender.

2. Take the seeds out of the Medjool dates and place them (the dates..!) in the food processor (ideally the Ninja Food Processor).

3. Add coconut oil (liquid), cacao powder, a handful of desiccated coconut, and a pinch of rock salt, and let the food processor mix everything.

4. Transfer the mixture into a mixing bowl, and add a handful of cacao nibs and more desiccated coconut, if you wish.

The first stage

5. Start kneading everything together with clean and jewellery-free hands. (You can also wear food-grade gloves.) Feel free to use your fists to press onto the mixture. Use your own weight to lean into the nutritious mix, almost as if giving someone a massage. The more everything is mixed together, the better it will taste.

The first stage

6. The mixture will start getting darker and moister thanks to the coconut oil melting and binding everything together. You can taste a bit of the mixture after all the squeezing and kneading, and decide if you’d like to add more vanilla essence, desiccated coconut, or cacao powder. If you do, make sure you knead everything thoroughly once again.

The first stage

7. Once the mixture is solid enough so it sticks together, start rolling pieces of it into balls.  If the balls don’t hold together well, it means the mixture needs more coconut oil to bind everything together. If this is the case, melt a bit of coconut oil in a small pan and the liquid to the mixture, kneading everything thoroughly until you can feel it’s getting sticky and ready to roll.

The first stage

8. Place the balls in the freezer for about an hour or more to solidify.

9. Take them out and place them in a container with a lid.

10. Sprinkle some cacao powder over them, close the lid, and gently shake or tilt the container, until the balls get nicely coated with the powder and look like high-class truffles.

The first stage
The first stage

11. Put everything back in the freezer for another hour or so. (For me personally, an hour in this context is an unbearably long time..!)

Then you can just keep the truffles in the freezer, or transfer some of them to the fridge. I personally prefer to keep them in the freezer, because I find them twice as delicious when solid and cold, (they remind me of the best chocolate ice cream) and they will soften quite fast once they’re out anayway.

12. And once they are ready…Just sit back and enjoy the power and vigour of Montezuma II!

Biofield Tuning

Biofield Tuning

Biofioled Tuning logo

What Is Biofield Tuning

Biofield Tuning is an energy medicine modality that uses the sound of tuning forks to find vibrational resistance in our personal electromagnetic field, and then, using the principles of resonance and entrainment, restore the coherence to those electromagnetic waves.

Emotional disturbances and stressful events in our life can create tangible resistance in our energy field. The healing sound waves carried by the tuning forks can clear non-beneficial patterns stored in the biofield and bring previous disturbances back into harmony.

Disclaimer: Biofield Tuning is an energy medicine modailty, and as such, does not diagnose or treat disease, nor does it replace or interfere with the services of a medical doctor.

How Biofield Tuning Works

In this video, Eileen McKusick, the pioneer of Biofield Tuning, explains how this method works.

Healthy Electric Field = Healthy Body

The work is based on the premise that our body is electric, so the majority of this work is done in body’s electromagnetic field. Sound is also a part of the electromagnetic spectrum and can positively influence patterns and flows of body’s electric field.

A healthy flow of our electric body acts like a blueprint for the health of our physical body. A vibrating fork produces a small electromagnetic charge, so when we use it around the body’s field, it acts like a magnet, and can help restore order in any distrupted, noisy, incoherent or chaotic patterns in our biofield.

Emotions Create Detectable Waveforms

Our emotions create waves that can be read by the tuning forks; even emotions from the distant past can be detected. Biofield Tuning uses principles of resonance and entrainment; during a Biofield Tuning session, we move the fork slowly towards the body and listen for changes in the fork’s tone, as it starts to resonate with the body’s frequencies.

Imagine striking an A string on a guitar. If there’s another guitar in the room, it will ‘answer’ by emitting a sound with the same note. A similar thing happens between the frequencies of the human biofield and the tuning fork. The tuning fork reflects and plays back the tones emitted by the body.

We also look for changes in the fork’s vibration, and changes in the texture of the energy field. For example, I can often detect a sense of resistance, as if I hit a wall. Or, I can feel the fork vibrating with more intensity or in a different rhythm.

Using Sound and Vibration to Restore Harmony

When we find an area that sounds or feels disturbed, dissonant, stuck, or chaotic, we project the dissonance towards the body by repeated striking of the tuning fork. The fork will reflect any dissonance back to the body.

Coherent sound is one of the tools the body can use to get itself into balance & harmony, so once the body detects the signal generated by the tuning fork, it will use the soundwaves to auto-tune itself and get into a healthier rhythm.

After a while of using the sound and vibration, the turbulence or disorder in the biofield will start decreasing, and the tone of the fork will become clearer and brighter.

Negative Thinking = an Electromagnetic Pattern That Can Be Adjusted

A lot of people suffer from troubled, undisciplined minds;  I am one of them, when I am not grounded and centered. The streams of unpleasant thoughts seem impossible to control. It’s like a constant background noise which is impossible to switch off.

Fortunately, these negative thoughts are just electromagnetic patterns, obsessive rhythms that can be brought into better order and coherence through sound and vibration.

The more Biofield Tuning sessions you receive, the more grounded, focused, clearminded and present you’ll become.

Incoherent Frequencies Can Be Found and Treated

Throughout her 23 years of practice, Eileen McKusick has mapped the human biofield and the locations of specific emotions – frequencies. So, for example, if you constantly and obsessively worry about the future, that specific frequency can be found in the field near your head, on the left side.

This, or any other area, can then be treated with a tuning fork, and the chaotic energy will be released from the stuck pattern and brought to your centre.

So when we talk about being ‘centered’, it’s not just an abstract concept or just a feeling – it’s pure physics. When your energies are aligned along the midline of your body, you are literally residing in the present moment.

Losing and Regaining Our Light

As we go through our lives, we inevitably experience difficulties and hardships. With every painful or traumatic episode, it often feels as if we ‘lose a bit of ourselves’, or ‘lose our light’. In shamanic healing, this has been called ‘losing fragments of soul’.

In fact, this phenomenon has been proven physically: Organisms under stress leak biophotons. So as we experience stressful situations or long-term hardships, we leave behind biophotons – ‘lose our light’, and are therefore not living to our full potential.

Biofield Tuning focuses on finding the biophotons in your field and bringing them back to your energy centres through the electromagnetic properties of the tuning forks. The fork acts like a broom or a magnet and it can move lost energy, that is stuck in the biofield, back into the body.

More Calm, Clarity, Focus, and Flow

As mentioned further above, Biofield Tuning works with the hypothesis that your memories are vibrationally encoded in your biofield. With the tuning forks, we can read and even modulate the vibrational record of our experiences, so that our body will start referring to these memories differently (including early memories we don’t remember) – i.e. without unnecessary stress, anger, panic, or fear.

As the body is tuning itself, the chaos, noise, and tension in the electromagnetic field will start easing and settling down, and the body will be able to relax and repair itself better.

Consequently, we will become more present and calmer inside, and enter into a greater sense of flow, clarity, and focus.

Energy Flows Through Patterns – Not Always Beneficial

If you’re having a difficult time mentally, emotionally, or physically, this could mean that there are energetic loops in your biofield that need resolving.

Energy flows through established patterns, but these patterns can often be negative and non-beneficial. The tuning fork can find these patterns, interrupt them, reset them to ‘neutral’, and eliminate the noise and chaos in the field.

Resetting the Patterns and Healthy Flow

By getting rid of the noise out of the field the body relaxes, and when the body relaxes, it functions better. It gets into a better flow – and good health means a good flow of energies.

In order to be healthy, we need to have our system in flow, without any obstructions, noise or chaos. Biofield Tuning is one of the great healing tools that support a healthy flow of energies.

I fully recommend getting a Biofield Tuning session. I get ‘tuned-up’ periodically and always benefit from these sessions.

Receiving a Tuning Session at a Distance

Biofiled Tuning sessions can be successfully carried out at a distance, using the principles of quantum physics. Electromagnetic waves travel through ether. Einstein called quantum entanglement ‘spooky action at a distance’. Nowadays, we use this action that is far from spooky, to perform distance healing sessions.

Eileen McKusick shares how her original scepticism was changed through her own experience.

Experience Biofield Tuning

I am currently in training to become a certified Biofield Tuning practitioner and look forward to offering my services in due time.

If you would like to experience a session with a certified practitioner, you can search through the practitioners’ directory.

I would love to hear about your experience with Biofield Tuning, so feel free to leave a comment at the end of this page.

Improving Eczema Symptoms with Acupressure

Improving Eczema Symptoms with Acupressure

Those of us who have suffered from eczema (such as Atopic Dermatitis) know how unpleasant this condition can be. Fortunately, there are techniques that can ease the symptoms of this condition. After considerable research, I have found out that a number of different sources (sites dedicated to the problem of eczema or acupuncture manuals), agree on the same techniques for this skin issue.

In this post, I am going to share several techniques which, if practiced daily for a number of weeks, may bring relief.

Acupuncture and Acupressure

Acupuncture and acupressure have both proven to be successful in relieving symptoms of eczema. First, let’s have a look at the difference between these two ways of treatment:

Acupuncture

Acupuncture uses fine needles, inserted at specific points along the body’s energetic pathways (meridians). This is believed to restore and balance the flow of energy necessary for healing. You need to find a qualified acupuncture practitioner to get a treatment, and you’ll usually need a number of sessions for the treatment to be effective.

Acupressure

Acupressure works on the same principle, but uses fingertips instead of needles. This means that you can apply this treatment to yourself or others, at home or wherever suits you.

Improvement Through Acupressure

In one of their articles at nationaleczema.org, Kachiu C. Lee, M.D. and Peter A. Lio, M.D. describe a study that has been conducted by Northwestern University’s Department of Dermatology to explore the effects of acupressure.

The participants of the experiment – all eczema sufferers – were divided into two groups: An experimental group and a control group. Both groups were instructed to continue their usual regime of eczema treatments, such as oral medications, steroid creams, moisturizers etc.

The subjects from the experimental group were also instructed to apply pressure at a specific acupuncture point (shown later in this article). They would have to do this on a daily basis for four weeks.

The participants in the control group were told to just stick to their usual regime of treatment, and not use any acupressure or acupuncture during these four week period.

The Results

After the four weeks passed, all participants were invited for follow-up examination. The subjects in the experimental group (those who were instructed to work with specific acupressure points) reported noticeable improvement of their eczema symptomps, including decreased itching sensation.

The participants from the control group who did not use any acupressure, had no noticeable change in their skin condition.

Acupressure Point for Eczema

The acupressure point used in the study was Large Intestine 11. This point lies on the energetic channel that not only nourishes the organ Large Intestine, but impacts the health of other organs and systems such as the skin. This is where it is located:

Lareg Intestine 11 acupressure point

Large Intestine 11

There are two more points which are often used for alleviating symptoms of eczema, and I would highly recommend including these in your daily routine, together with the Large Intestine 11 (LI 11).

These are: Spleen 10 and Bladder 40.

Spleen 10 acupressure point

Bladder 40 acupressure point

Bladder 40

Note: The pictures come from my favourite app called POINTS, and are licenced to Miridia Acupuncture Technology. If you’d like to find out more out this app, you can read my review here.

How to Apply Acupressure

To work with the acupressure points, use your thumb (on any finger of your preference) and apply steady pressure to a given point. Rub/stimulate the point in a circular motion for 1-2 minutes. Ideally, you may want to do this on a daily basis for at least two weeks, or until you start noticing some relief in itchiness, sensation of heat, or the number of lesions.

It is best to incorporate the acupressure sessions in your daily activities, e.g. when you relax, watch TV, wait in a queue, lie in bed, etc.

Perseverance Pays Off

Working with the points is easy: Simply press or rub the point in a circular motion for 1-2 minutes. However, if you’d like to see results, it is necessary to stick to this treatment for a number of weeks, as in the experiment by the Northwestern University’s Department of Dermatology. Just integrate it in your daily routine and you may be well rewarded for your discipline sooner or later.

Recap

The three acupressure points for alleviating symptoms of eczema are:

Large Intestine 11

Spleen 10

Bladder 40.

They should be stimulated/rubbed in circular motion for 1-2 minutes.

Here are pictures of each point once more:

Healthy Liver

Another important point to mention in connection with eczema is the health of the liver which regulates detoxification of the blood. Often, the red itchy patches will become more inflamed when your blood has high level of toxins.

Massaging the Neurolymphatic Points

One way to encourage the elimination of those toxins is by regularly massaging the neurolymphatic points of the Liver, which are located (all along the line) under the right breast. This method is frequently used by osteopaths, chiropractors, kinesiologists, energy medicine practitioners etc.

The Best of Eckhart Tolle

The Best of Eckhart Tolle

This page is dedicated to the spiritual teacher Eckhart Tolle. I have selected my favourite sections from his talks and writings. I hope you will find them as helpful, and often deeply transformational, as I have.

Eckhart Tolle and the Dalai Lama

Eckhart Tolle (left) with the Dalai Lama and Ken Robinson

Quotes by Eckhart Tolle

Here is a selection of my favourite quotes by Eckhart. This also included several longer passages from The Power of Now.

~ Offer no resistance to the present moment.

~ When you accept what is, every moment is the best. That is enlightenment.

~ Allow what is and see what happens.

~ To complain is always a non-acceptance of what is.

~ Wherever you are, be there totally.

~ Everything is honoured, but nothing matters.

~ All negativity is caused by an accumulation of psychological time and denial of the present. Unease, anxiety, tension, stress, worry – all forms of fear – are caused by too much future, and not enough presence. Guilt, regret, resentment, grievances, sadness, bitterness, and all forms of nonforgiveness are caused by too much past, and not enough presence.

~ Don’t demand that situations, conditions, places, or people should make you happy, and then you won’t suffer when they don’t live up to your expectations.

On a deeper level you are already complete, and when you realize that, there will be  playful, joyous energy behind what you do. You will no longer pursue your goals with grim determination, driven by fear, anger, discontent, or the need to become someone. Nor will you remain inactive through fear of failure.

~ Do not be concerned with the fruit of your action – just give attention to the action itself. The fruit will come on its own accord (Eckhart’s paraphrase of Karma Yoga from Bhagavad Gita).

“One day I’ll make it”. Is your goal taking up so much of your attention that you reduce the present moment to a means to an end? Is it taking the joy out of your doing? Are you waiting to start living? If you develop such a mind pattern, no matter what you achieve or get, the present will never be good enough; the future will always seem better. A perfect recipe for permanent dissatisfaction and nonfulfillment, don’t you agree?

The Best of Eckhart’s Talks

My favourite passages from Eckhart’s talks in audio/video format. I love his wisdom and sense of humour!

The Power of Being Present

Eckhart Tolle – with his adorable sense of humour – describes how our attention is consumed by compulsive thinking and what this does to our state of consciousness. (Love the part about social media..!) He then explains how to get back from being identified with the voice in our head and our personal story to the present moment – the state of alert awareness, which is profoundly liberating.

Dealing with Difficult People

Eckhart’s perspective on challenging individuals in our lives.

Energy Medicine in Action

Energy Medicine in Action

The following lines are selected entries from my Energy Medicine Journal, where I describe my experience with energy work. It’s nice to remember all those rewarding moments when I was able to help someone by applying various healing techniques. I hope you will find it useful as well.

horizon

Relieving a Cramp – Quickly!

I was woken up by a strong pain in my left foot – on the inside part. I could feel the muscles tightening and it was getting more and more painful. Then I suddenly remembered to use the Spindle Cells mechanism in the muscle.

I started lightly pinching the belly of the muscle, (in the direction of the muscle fibres) bringing the Spindle Cells closer together. This is supposed to send a signal to the brain, saying to the brain ‘This muscle is too tight! Please release it!’ And lo and behold; after just a few pinches, the pain has started to subside. The muscle was fully relaxed and pain-free in less than 10 seconds.

Easing Pain at the Side of the Neck

My husband complained about pain at the side of his neck. I checked the Eden Method diagram which shows the relationship of muscles and meridians, and found out that the muscle in the painful area is connected with the Kidney meridian. I sedated the Kidney meridian. I also used an additional technique called pain dispersing, for which I used a wooden brush and tapped the painful area.

To find how to sedate the Kidney meridian, visit my posts The Kidney Meridian, and  Acupressure Strengthening and Sedating Points. For pain dispersing and other useful pain-relief techniques, check my post 6 Non-Invasive Pain Rellief Techniques.

A Surprisingly Fast Relief from Hay Fever

I was suffering from hayfever symptoms and decided to use some acupressure points to help me relieve the sneezing and all the other allergy symptoms. I was pressing and massaging an acupuncture point on my instep, (called Liver 3 – see the picture below) and after about a minute of doing so, the tingling in my nose, as well as the sneezing, suddenly stopped. My eyes stopped itching as well.

Relief from Stomach Pain

I love good food, and sometimes I don’t know when to stop! That was the case one evening, when I had my third (!) helping of my husband’s delicious vegan risotto. And after that, a big handful of brazil nuts and several cacao truffles (which I can’t stop making as they are so addictive! You can check the recipe here..;)

Anyway, enough about gluttony, and back to energy medicine. So that evening I went to bed feeling really heavy and with a belly ache, which was not surprising.  I decided to use acupressure to help me relieve the pain, and held Stomach sedating points. After 3 or 4 minutes, the heaviness and discomfort have eased from 9/10 to about 3/10. It was a fast and noticeable shift in the way I felt. I do recommend having this technique at hand when you get yourself in a similar situation!

You can find the Stomach sedating technique here: Acupressure Strengthening and Sedating Points.

Relief from Menstrual Pain

One of my friends was suffering from menstrual pain, which involved lower back pain and pain in the groin area. She said she would normally use a painkiller, but didn’t have any with her. I decided to use specific acupressure points to calm (sedate) two meridians: Kidney and Liver. For the lower back pain, I sedated the Kidney meridian, and for the groin pain, I sedated the Liver meridian.

You can find the techniques here: Acupressure Strengthening and Sedating Points.

After sedating both meridians, which altogether took about 12 minutes, my friend’s face lit. She looked at me with slight disbelief, smiling, and said that the pain had subsided from intense to barely noticeable.

The Daily Energy Routine

Some of the energy medicine techniques that I use daily have been compiled into a set of simple exercises called the Daily Energy Routine. You can easily incorporate it into your day, and it will reward you with more energy, improved focus, better mood, and an increasingly stronger immune system.

I am happy to say that thanks to opractising this routine daily, I have been free from colds for more than four years now!

To learn the complete Daily Energy Routine, you can follow this lovely video by Eva Gold, an Eden Energy Medicine Advanced Practitioner and Faculty Member of the Eden Energy Medicine Certification Program in the U.S.

Acknowledgments

I would like to thank Donna Eden, the founder of Eden Method (an alternative healing modality thate merges ancient and modern healing techniques)  for giving us the Daily Energy Routiine. The Daily Energy Routine is a crucial component of her method and it has helped thousands who practice it daily to keep their health in balance.

7 Techniques for Seasonal Allergy Relief

7 Techniques for Seasonal Allergy Relief

This post is aimed at anyone who suffers from seasonal allergies. If you that’s your case, I hope you find the information on this page helpful.

Meadow

If you are short of time and can’t read the whole article, just watch this short video by Carey Philips, Eden Energy Medicine Certified Practitioner. It is thanks to her tips that I managed to ease the irritating symptoms of hayfever.

How This Video Helped Me

I woke up last week into a beautiful May’s morning, and as soon as I breathed in the flower-scented air, I started sneezing, couldn’t stop blowing my nose (and waking up my husband with the annoying fanfare), and my eyes felt all puffy and itchy. As an energy medicine enthusiast, I started looking for some tips on YouTube, and found Carey’s video.

A Surprisingly Fast Relief

I followed all the exercises demonstrated by Carey, but one technique in particular seemed to work incredibly fast: When I started pressing and massaging an acupuncture point on my instep, (called Liver 3 – see the picture in Technique 3) after about a minute of doing so, the tingling in my nose, as well as the sneezing, suddenly stopped. My eyes stopped itching as well.

I felt very different from just a few moments back – what a relief. I immediately shared this technique with my husband, who was suffering from the same issue, and, to our joy, his symptoms eased as well. We entered our garden, and instead of having to run back in the house and hide from all the pollen flying in the air, we enjoyed breakfast outside without any symptoms.

A Closer Look at the Techniques

Let’s have a closer look at the techniques in Carey Philips’ video. These exercises – if practiced frequently – can boost the immune system, stimulate a healthier flow of energy in your body, and address allergy symptoms such as headaches, itchy and watery eyes, sneezing, runny or congested nose, or sore throat.

Technique 1: Four Thumps

(0:30 – 1:10 in the video)

This is adapted from Donna Eden’s Daily Energy Routine, a simple but powerful set of exercises that help boost your immunity and establish healthy habits in your body’s energy systems.

I highly recommend learning the whole Daily Energy Routine and doing it every day. I credit this for not having had a cold for more than two years – since I have started practicing it daily. I’ll share Donna Eden’s video of the whole sequence at the end of this post.

Technique 2: Figures of Eight Around the Eyes

(1:10 – 1:31 in Carey Philip’s video)

Draw, tap or pinch figures of eight around your eyes. This will help relieve congested energy.

Technique 3: Liver 3 Acupuncture point

(1:32 – 2:13)

This is the technique that worked for me most in terms of easing the hay fever symptoms.

Find the Liver 3 acupuncture point on the instep of your foot, press and massage it. Carey Philips Explains very well how to find it, so I recommend skipping the segment in the video (1:40). Massaging this point helps relieve itchiness of the eyes and other allergic symptoms such as sneezing, which I’m happy to confirm through my own experience.

What I find interesting is that if you press this point and find it point tender, it confirms that the energy is stuck there, thus in need of a good massage in order to free the energy – and easing your symptoms as a consequence.

Here is an illustration of the Liver 3 point, as seen in the app called Points:

Technique 4: The Crown Pull

(2:13 – 2:52)

This technique helps relive congested energy in the head, which often manifests through headaches, sinus pressure or difficulty to concentrate.

Technique 5: Large Intestine 4 Acupuncture point

(2:53 – 3:25)

As with the Liver 3 point on the foot, (technique no 3), frequently massaging this point down the webbing between your thumb and index finger helps relieve sneezing and runny nose.

And again, if you press this point and find it tender, it’s a sign that you need to work on it.

Technique 6: Triple Warmer Smoothie

(3:28 – 4:10)

When we have allergies, the meridian Triple Warmer is over-active, so it’s helpful to calm its energies by tracing its flow backwards. Follow the video to learn this technique, which helps with easing allergic symptoms, as well as making you feel calmer in general. I’m happy to share that this technique has helped me many times during stressful situations, helping me not to over-react or simply ‘lose it’!

Technique 7: Massage Spleen meridian end points

(4:12 – 4:28)

Massaging these acupressure points helps strengthen immunity and rebalance your energies.
