MAINTENANCE TIPS FOR YOUR VITALITY VESSEL
If you own the CellPower bottle, it is no doubt very precious to you because you have experienced the health benefits of molecular hydrogen; you have more energy, sleep better, don’t crave sweets at night, your skin looks better, and your nervous system is calmer, thus your emotions are in balance. You naturally want to keep feeling like this all the time, so it makes sense you should take good care of your ‘vitality vessel’, as the CellPower bottle is often called.
To keep your beautiful device in top condition, make sure to regularly clean it. For optimal performance, it is advised to clean it on a regular basis, i.e. once to three times a week.
What Cleaning Products to Use
For best results, use food grade citric acid and boiling water. It is also possible to use lemon juice with boiling water, but my personal preference is citric acid, because it dissolves very well, while the pulp of lemon juice might clog the sophisticated PEM membrane at the base of the bottom lid.

What is Citric Acid
Citric acid is produced naturally in citrus fruits and is frequently used in sweets due to its acidity; but unlike sweets, citric acid is highly useful because of its strong acidity – so it can turn into a superb cleaning product.
Which Brand to Use
There are many brands to choose from, but it is important to check that it’s pure food- grade citric acid with no other additives. A recommended food-grade citric acid brand in Europe is NortemBio.
I am based in the UK, and the brand I use is Whole Food Earth. Their citric acid is food-grade, thus safe to eat, (you can make a nice elderflower cordial with it!) but it is also a highly helpful home-cleaning product, thanks to its strong acidity. It is the acidity that makes it an excellent cleaning agent; it does a great job of removing dirt, and because it is highly water soluble with no odour, it comes off quickly and without streaks.
The Cleaning Process
- Bring a small pot of filtered, spring, or distilled water to a boil.
- Add a heaped tablespoon of food-grade citric acid to the water and let it dissolve.
- Add the hot water with the citric acid to your CellPower bottle.
- Run a 9-minute cycle with the lid off
- Run another 9-minute cycle (reheat the water if necessary)
- Once done discard this solution
- Next, add only pure boiling water (with no citric acid – to get rid of the acidic taste)
- Run a 9-minute cycle with the lid off
- Discard the water
- Repeat if necessary until the acidic taste is eliminated
After completing these steps, your bottle will be prepared and ready for optimal performance.

I would also offer a minor suggestion if I may. I have a slight visual impairment. I found 2 of the links within this article hard to see because of the color contrast.
